Always tell the truth and think of others first. This is a sign of a true friend and teammate. Play the game hard and play it the right way.
Life isn’t always easy. We need to realize that when we go though tough times it is God’s way of making us stronger.
Don’t be a showboat. Be confident, not cocky. This includes how we are off the field. The way we act, how we dress, what we read and watch on television will affect you and those around you. Are you being a good example to your friends?
When we have fire in our hearts it will show in everything that we set out to accomplish. Do whatever it is that makes you happy and do it with PASSION!
Treat others the way you want to be treated. Be fair in everything you do and take care of your belongings. This includes your equipment! Throwing your stuff is not only disrespectful to the people who gave it to you; it also makes you look childish.
We are all different. That is what makes us special. Not everyone will react to things in the same way. When we are part of a team we learn to blend all of our strengths to give ourselves the best opportunity to overcome our opposition. Be patient in everything that you do.
If you want to be successful in life you are going to have to put forth the effort to do it. Failure is another opportunity to try again. Focus on your goals, plan them out and then work hard to accomplish them. Make sure when you look in the mirror at night you can tell yourself that you gave your best effort.
