| Other Info | We have a series of 3 Coaching Clinics available for you in the month of February on the 8th, 15th and 22nd. Coach Clinic Summary: Each clinic will have a pinpoint focus and will break down the intricacies of the game. The first clinic will focus on throwing mechanics, pitching and catching. The second will be all about hitting and base running. The third and final clinic will be all about team defense. We will also be going over practice plans as well as drills that you can implement in practice. Physical & Mental Aspects of the Game •Active Dynamic Warm-up •Strength Training with emphasis on Core Muscles • Mental & Emotional Preparation • Game Day Approach Offensive & Defensive Aspects of the Game • Fundamentals of a level swing • How to maximize power regardless of your size • Base Running & Bunting • Advanced Infield, Outfield & Catching Techniques • Efficient Throwing Footwork & Ball Transfer • Throwing Mechanics to Improve Velocity & Control • Pick Off Moves and Fielding Bunts Professional Instructors: Billy Horton- former minor league catcher w/ 15 yrs coaching experience Troy Farnsworth- former minor league infielder w/ 14 yrs coaching exp Danny Putnam- current minor league outfielder w/ 8 yrs coaching experience Jon Huizinga- current minor league pitcher w/ 10 years coaching experience Mike Stanley- former college coach w/ over 40 years coaching experience Clinic instructors displayed are scheduled to attend & more may be added Coaches Receive * Three days of elite, professional instruction * Educational & Inspirational talks from coaches * Coaching Packet Cost: $10 per clinic or $25 for all three.
