Baseball Academy Summary:We will cover every aspect of the game of baseball. Players will be separated by age and skill level, then rotate through a number of fundamental skill stations during weekday practices. There will be an emphasis on hitting, throwing mechanics & defensive positioning. On Saturdays we will have 2 hour scrimmages.

This is a 5 day event, June 21st-25th.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This camp is limited to 30 participants. Please note that Inside Pitch moved locations in 2010 so make sure to check the address.

Current Roster: 22 (updated every morning at 8am)

Ages: 8-16

Pitching & Catching Camp Summary: This is a camp that will cover every aspect of pitching & catching. Players will be separated by age and skill level, then rotate through a number of fundamental skill stations. There will be also be a strong emphasis on strength training that will be specific to these positions. Prepare to be challenged!

Pitching Aspects of the Game
• Advanced Throwing Progression
• Mechanics to Improve Velocity, Movement, & Control
• Proper Pitch Grips
• Pickoffs & Mastering the Running Game
• Recognizing Hitters’ Tendencies & Pitch Selection

Catching Aspects of the Game
• Proper Stance & Sign Giving
• Advanced Receiving & Blocking Techniques
• Efficient Throwing Footwork & Ball Transfer
• Pop-up, Bunt, & Tag Play Fundamentals
• Recognizing Hitters’ Tendencies & Pitch Selection

Professional Instructors:
Billy Horton- former minor league catcher w/ 15 yrs coaching experience
Troy Farnsworth- former minor leaguer w/ 14 yrs coaching exp
Joe Pomierski- former minor leaguer w/ 10 yrs coaching experience

Camp instructors displayed are scheduled to attend & more may be added
